Meet the Founder, Master Trainer

Nisha Srikanth

Founder of Srikolhapuri Dolls and the Srikolhapuri School of Doll Making, Srikolhapuri Craft Store dedicated to preserving and promoting India’s cultural heritage through traditional handcrafted dolls. My work focuses on creating culturally rooted dolls that represent Indian traditions, festivals, epics, and life events. Alongside this creative pursuit, I run a doll manufacturing unit in Chennai that provides meaningful livelihood opportunities to underprivileged women, enabling them to achieve financial stability and self-reliance.

Over the years, I have trained more than 3,500 women and children in the art of doll making, empowering them with skills that support entrepreneurship and self-employment. My commitment extends beyond craftsmanship; I also teach yoga and sound healing, and I serve as a board member in academic institutions to contribute to skill-based education.

Through every initiative, my goal is to blend artistry, empowerment, and social responsibility. I strive to ensure that India’s traditional art forms continue to thrive while creating positive, sustainable impact within the community.
